Dear Valued Community Member
On May 2, 2025, we will be hosting the 2nd Annual Swing “Fore” Cesar & Law Enforcement Mental Health Awareness Golf Tournament to raise funds for various scholarships and awareness in remembrance of Sgt. Cesar Sandoval.
Cesar was a proud father, grandfather, husband, and Retired Chico Police Department Sergeant. Cesar worked in law enforcement for over 28 years while working for the Chico Police Department since 1999. Cesar worked a variety of assignments including patrol, SRO, Detective, HNT, Sergeant, and Target Sergeant. Cesar was also bilingual speaking both English and Spanish. Cesar always put others before himself, in pursuit of public service. He lived life to the fullest, loved his family and friends unconditionally, and is greatly missed. With his loss we are writing to you asking for your support in our mission to bring awareness to Law Enforcement Mental Health.
With the support of volunteers, and donors like you we have the ability to help our community, and those who selflessly serve it. Every dollar counts. Please become a partner in Law Enforcement Mental Health awareness and join us on our mission to give back to those who have given so much to our community.
Your generous donations will support the Cesar Sandoval Scholarship at Willows High School, establish the Sgt. Cesar Sandoval Award at Butte Community College Police Academy, and various Law Enforcement Mental Health organizations.
